Constipation in children is common worldwide and accounts for around 3% of visits to paediatricians, so we know that it is something not always easily rectified by simple dietary changes made by parents. It accounts for high healthcare usage and costs. A recognised medical treatment plan consists of practical strategies, education and demystification, toilet training (with a reward system), a defecation diary and pharmacological interventions.

However, homoeopathic treatment can be of great help and can be used as part of a well-rounded plan in concert with the various strategies suggested to parents by their paediatrician.

In this webinar participants will also be updated with the latest conventional guidelines so that their advice to families is comprehensive and their homoeopathic treatment complements the other strategies.

Linlee Jordan has been a homoeopath for over 28 years and is the director of the Harbord Homeopathic Clinic in Sydney which has a strong emphasis on treatment and research into children's health. The clinic houses the Aurum Project for homoeopathic research.
