Webinar series: Jane Tara Cicchetti: The alchemy of dreams: dream analysis for homoeopaths

Join us for this special webinar series where Jane Tara Cicchetti will be our guide through the world of dreams and the symbolic realm of the psyche. Because dreams are an attempt on the part of the organism to heal itself, they can reveal some of the most reliable symptoms when properly interpreted.

In this series of three sessions we will learn methods of dream analysis to effectively uncover the central disturbance of a case, help find the indicated remedy, and follow the healing process. Jane will also introduce us to the archetypal structure of the psyche, as seen in clinical practice.

About this webinar series:

Session 1: This session will introduce Jung and the collective unconscious and his discovery of the archetypes. We will also learn how to keep a dream journal, analyse the three parts of a dream (dreaming, telling, and interpretation) and finish up learning the steps of dream analysis.

Session 2: This session will consider Logos and Eros - rational thought and the symbolic world of the psyche. We will dive into the case taking process with dreams, including how to use dreams to find the remedy and follow the healing process. Jane will help us to understand how dreams can reveal the symbolic world of the client, as well as archetypes in dreams.

Session 3: In this final session we will look at archetypes in more depth, including the major archetypes seen in practice. Jane will also discuss dreams in provings, as well as the concepts of transference, transmission and projection.

About the presenter:

Jane Tara Cicchetti has been in homoeopathic practice for over 35 years and is an internationally known teacher and writer on the integration of Jungian psychology and homoeopathy. She is author of Dreams, Symbols and Homoeopathy: Archetypal Dimensions of Healing, one of the first to bring homoeopathy in line with modern psychology, and considered to be the classic work on this subject.
